The Lompico Community Center (LCC) is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to making Lompico the best community in all of Santa Cruz County. It is operated by a volunteer board of directors, whom are all Lompico residents and whom are all unpaid. The LCC helps improve Lompico by planning and coordinating neighborhood improvement projects.

Residents that want to help improve Lompico can do so in several ways:

• Become an LCC Member by paying your yearly membership fee. Your yearly membership fee helps finance improvement projects.
• Make a financial donation above and beyond your yearly membership fee.
• Volunteer your time, materials and/or resources.

Almost everyone that lives in Lompico has great pride in the neighborhood and wants to do what they can to make it even better for our families. The LCC welcomes all volunteers! To make the strongest impact on the neighborhood, ask for a position on the board. The LCC is very open to new blood driving local improvement efforts. By lobbying hard with local politicians and wading through extensive grant application processes, the LCC has secured the following grant money for all of Lompico:

• Total cost if a new bus stop (est. $27,000)
• Recovery of the Lompico Park property
• $30,000 grant from Granite Construction
• $13,000 recovered from the County from the old CSA11
• $5,000 grant for the Lompico Park restroom from the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz Co. - Vecinos Project
• $5,000 grant for resurfacing the basketball court from the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz Co.
• $4,000 grant toward the Sports Court surface on the basketball court from Community Foundation of Santa Cruz Co. - Vecinos Project - matched by almost $3,000 donated by LCC Members.
• $1,700 grant for connecting power to Lompico Park, for the soda machine located at Lompico Park and for other LCC expenses from the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz Co. - Vecinos Project.

Thanks to your yearly membership fees and the volunteer efforts of LCC members, we have successfully enacted the following improvements in Lompico:
