Circuits In Lompico

Most people rave about living in Lompico because of how wonderful it is to be surrounded by such a beautiful setting. Where else can you walk out your door and go for a run or bike ride to your local lake (Loch Lomond Lake) or along a peaceful creek (Lompico Creek), while enjoying the spectacular views and abundance of wildlife a 100 year old redwood forest provides.

    From Lompico Park to Loch Lomond Lake

    This just under 3 mile round-trip, completely paved circuit provides you with a moderate climb up from Lompico Park to the entrance to Loch Lomond Lake. You then have the choice of taking the main road or enjoying the Gillchrist Trail down to the lake. Be sure to take at least 10 minutes at the lake to enjoy the views and peaceful setting.

    From Lompico Park to Islandia

    This just under 3 mile round-trip, completely paved circuit provides you with an easy, flat bike ride, run or hike from Lompico Park to the end of Lompico Road where the historic Islandia property sits. At the end of Lompico Road is a green gate that marks the entrance to Islandia, where 1960s legends such as Janis Joplin and the Grateful Dead used to jam in the house that used to stand there. This stretch of Lompico Road is a very quiet and peaceful circuit that runs parallel to Lompico Creek.

    From Lompico Park to Lompico Lake

    This 1.6 mile round-trip, completely paved circuit provides you with a moderate climb from Lompico Park to Lompico Lake. From Lompico Lake the circuit takes you down to Lompico Creek and the Lompico Water Company. From there you get to enjoy the creek side trip back to Lompico Park.
